Part of the MAD Series of Asynchronous motors, the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-A1 is a 3-pole design motor with a speed rating of 2000 rotations per minute. This motor design offers up to 210 Nm of torque when operating in rated conditions and can output a maximum of 494 Nm when rotating at a maximum speed of 6000 rotations per minute while using the standard type bearings. The standard type bearings are recommended to be serviced after every 20000 cycles of use for prolonged life.
To prevent the motor from getting too hot, the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-A1 features an axial blower fan placed inside the motor chassis. This blower fan runs on 400 volts AC and has a power consumption rating between 132 VA to 175 VA. The blower has a current rating between 0.19 Amperes to 0.21 Amperes. The blower cools the motor at the rate of 1000 m^3 of air per hour. This motor also has a thermal time constant of 70 minutes which further helps this motor regulate its temperature rather quickly. This motor is designed to be operated at a maximum operating temperature between 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
To keep the motor mounted at a stable position, the MAD160C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-A1 offers two mounting options: foot mounting to keep it mounted on a stable surface and is beneficial for applications that require a lot of room for operation and the second option is flange mounting which is perfect for mounting onto gearboxes keeping the shaft center aligned and reducing the load on the shaft preventing it from bending and breaking. The motor has a plain shaft design but does not feature a shaft sealing ring.
