Product Description
The MAD160C-0200-SA-M2-AF0-05-N1 is a high-performance asynchronous motor featuring a permanent magnet squirrel cage rotor, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. This motor is specifically designed to deliver high torque when used with alternating current (AC), making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial applications. The demanding tasks performed by this motor generate significant heat, necessitating an effective cooling solution to maintain operational efficiency and longevity.
To manage the heat produced during operation, the motor is equipped with a forced cooling system. This system includes permanently mounted blowers (fans) located on the rear side of the motor. These blowers circulate air continuously to dissipate heat and maintain the motor at an optimal temperature, thus preventing overheating and protecting the internal components from thermal damage. The blowers operate independently from the motor's drive controllers and require an external power supply for functionality. Specifically, these are 3-phase blowers, necessitating three separate power supplies to function properly. They are compatible with input voltages of 3 x 400V, allowing for a voltage deviation of up to 15%, and 3 x 440V, with a permissible voltage deviation of up to 10%. The blowers can operate at a recommended frequency of either 50 Hz or 60 Hz, providing flexibility to adapt to various applications and environments.
Despite its power consumption, the blower delivers an impressive airflow rate of 1000 m³/h, effectively cooling the motor and preventing damage. This ensures the motor operates efficiently even under high load conditions. Furthermore, the motor is equipped with two KTY84-130 temperature sensors. These sensors are strategically installed to detect any exponential rise in temperature, providing an additional layer of protection by monitoring thermal conditions and allowing for timely intervention to prevent overheating.
