Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MAD160C-0100-SA-S2-BH0-05-H1 motor has a B-side power connection. It is used for easier electrical wiring and provides flexible installation options. The B-side power connection is often used in conditions where one cannot access the other side due to limited space. This B-side power connection helps in organizing the wiring system and makes these wires free from tangling as it provides the connection from the rear side of the motor. It also provides a good arrangement of wires, supplying power to the motor and enhances the organization of wiring within the motor thus making it easier to do maintenance.
Apart from the B-side power connection, a plain shaft, which does not have a shaft sealing ring, is used in certain industrial applications where contamination protection is not a significant issue. The plain shaft with shaft sealing ring prevents dust, moisture and other unnecessary particles from getting into the motor. The plain shaft allows the motor shaft to rotate more freely and be less abrasive on the bearings of the motor. This enhances the efficiency of the motor as there are no hindrances for rotation thus increasing the motor efficiency. A plain shaft is exposed as opposed to a sealed one, thus it has the benefit of low maintenance where contaminants pose less problem.
A B-side power connection and a plain shaft without shaft sealing make up a simple and long-lasting motor that is suitable for challenging industrial applications. The B-side power connection makes wiring easier, whereas the plain shaft helps in making the operation smooth. These features make the motor suitable where low resistance and simple wiring will be advantageous, and the motor needs to run with ease.
