Product Description
This particular AC servo motor is the one developed by Rexroth for the applications which require a very high torque and precision (MAD160B-0200-SA-S0-BK0-35-N1). Its output power is 33.5kW which is accompanied by a torque rating of 160Nm at 2000 revolutions per minute. Thus, the motor is ideal for heavy-duty and constant applications as it has a rated current of 75.8 A and is able to produce a holding constant torque of 170 Nm. At stationary, the motor has an average continuous current of 80.9 A and operates on a derating speed of 1500.
For both of them to work properly, a special connection with the proper motor side plug type shall be provided to the motor encoder and to the drive device means. The connection between the drive controller and the motor encoder sets is such that the two types of connectors are exactly opposite structures to enable hand fitting without any tools. In order to assure appropriate level and assertiveness in fastening, the mechanical codings of the flange sockets should also be regarded.
IndraDyn A motors are fitted with two PTC temperature sensors (KTY84-130 model) that are embedded within the motor windings permanently. These sensors act in the drive controllers defense by providing relevant information upon monitoring the motors temperature especially avoiding excessive heating. The additional sensor is not evaluated under the control of the drive controller. Only one such sensor is ever connected to the controller whilst the controller is operational.
