MAD are series of asynchronous motors developed and designed by Bosch, Rexroth. The MAD series differs from the MAF series by the use of cooling mechanism. The MAD utilizes surface ventilation through fixed fans for its cooling mode while the MAF series employs liquid cooling procedure for protection of overheating damages.
