Product Description
With Bosch Rexroth, customers can expect high-quality products and services, such as the MAD asynchronous motors. The energy-efficient motors are used as rotary main and servo drive motors in applications like machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, and metal-forming machines.
The MAD160B-0150-SA-M2-AH0-05-N1 is a MAD servo motor in the Rexroth IndraDyn A series of asynchronous box motors. It has connected axial fan units that permit heat elimination via surface cooling; however, the fans can be dismounted for maintenance. This motor corresponds with the IP 65 protection category in line with EN 60529, as it is safe from solid external materials and water jets from different directions. Its sealed design prevents accidental contact with users and tools that could potentially damage the motor. A multiturn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface is integrated with this MAD model, delivering sinusoidal encoder signals. It is also equipped with a plain output shaft but with no shaft sealing ring. The shaft provides a non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connection and guarantees the motor’s smooth running.
Flange mounting is the designated mounting method for the MAD160B-0150-SA-M2-AH0-05-N1. Its standard bearing type consists of deep-groove ball bearings and is suitable for absorbing low to medium radial and axial forces. This ensures minimal noise generation during its operation and makes it suitable for high speeds. It also improves its durability but is only good enough for these low to medium radial and axial loads. The MAD model reaches a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and generates a maximum torque of 440.1Nm. It is equipped with two pole pairs and a squirrel-cage rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.2500000 kgm2.
