Product Description
The MAD160B-0100-SA-S2-BH0-35-N1 asynchronous motor from Rexroth is a high-speed AC-operated servo motor that offers high torque and speed outputs perfect for fast-paced industrial processes. This servo motor model comes with a winding configuration of 0100 and is capable of providing a rated speed of 1000 rpm. Since this servo motor comes with the N1 configuration, the MAD160B-0100-SA-S2-BH0-35-N1 comes with the standard type bearings that allows this AC servo motor to attain a maximum rotational speed of 6000 rpm while generating a corresponding rotational torque of 593 Nm.
This servo also comes with the locked rotor mode where the rotor of the servo is locked in a given position to attain a particular position for the shaft, which is very common for robotics applications where the motor shafts are locked in a given position to achieve accurate positioning. The locked rotor torque rating for this servo motor is 270 Nm while drawing a current of up to 75.8 amperes. Speaking of accurate positioning, this servo motor is equipped with the single-turn absolute encoder for accurate positioning of the shaft.
The single-turn absolute encoder on this servo motor requires anywhere between 7 to 12 volts to operate while drawing approximately 28 mA of current from the motor power supply module. The single-turn absolute encoder on this motor has a resolution of 2048 steps per rotation and uses the EnDat 2.1 digital communication interface to communicate with the compatible motor controller. This digital communication interface comes with various security and encryption features for a safe and accurate transmission channel between the motor encoder and the motor controller. The encoder of this motor is placed on the rear end of the motor.
