Product Description
The asynchronous box motor, model MAD160B-0050-SA-S2-AQ0-35-N1, of the IndraDyn A generation is designed and developed by Bosch Rexroth. This size 160 and length D motor comes with an efficient and compact axial fan unit to offer uniform surface cooling. Its singleturn absolute encoder with 2048 increments retains position data even after power cycles. It can serve as the primary and servo drive for rotary driving tasks, like metal-forming machines, packaging and food-processing machines, machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, etc.
With a rated torque of 220 Nm and a rated power of 11.5 kW, this motor delivers exceptional power for demanding tasks. Applications requiring consistent and powerful output are satisfied by its rated current of 26.1 A and rated speed of 500 RPM (revolutions per minute). Engineered with a thermal time constant of 35 minutes and designed to withstand ambient temperatures from 0 to +40 degrees Celsius, it maintains durability in different industrial environments. This motor’s rotor moment of inertia of 0.2500 kg-meter square and 201 kg weight enhances its stability in high-demand applications. Its continuous torque at standstill is 220 Nm and continuous current at standstill is 26.1 A. It can handle speeds up to 3000 RPM (with standard bearing). Its 9.66 Nm/A of torque constant at 20 degrees Celsius confirms efficient performance with precision control.
This motor’s sound pressure level, maintained at 75 dB[A], ensures a manageable acoustic footprint. It offers both flange and foot mounting to fit applications where different orientations are needed. This model is not supplied with a holding brake. With electrical connections on side A, this motor reduces the likelihood of accidental contact with live terminals and improves worker safety during maintenance and adjustments.
