Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is the designer of the asynchronous MAD motors with squirrel-cage rotors by fan units. They are high-performance motors used to create intelligent drive solutions with the controllers of the Rexroth IndraDrive product line.
The MAD130D-0250-SA-S2-HH0-35-N1 is a MAD model with a rated speed of 2,500 revolutions per minute. It has a single-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface and a data memory where its parameters are stored. This encoder generates sine/cosine signals (1 Vss) with 2,048 periods per revolution and absolute period assignment within one revolution. The MAD motor’s frame shape allows its attachment via foot assembly or flange assembly. It also has a compact and easy-to-service structure to simplify its installation and give low maintenance requirements. Like others in this series, this MAD model is equipped with a squirrel-cage rotor with impressive durability and performance. It has a rotor moment of inertia of 0.1640000 kgm² and 3 pole pairs.
A black paint covers the housing of the MAD130D-0250-SA-S2-HH0-35-N1, protecting it from the effects of water, seawater, sewage, diluted acids, and lyes. It also offers limited resistance to organic solvents and hydraulic oils. It is equipped with a plain output shaft which makes a non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connection possible. This also ensures the motor’s smooth running with minimal noise generation. An axial fan is mounted on the motor to generate cooling air currents which travel over its surface, guided by air baffles. Its bearing type is standard, consisting of deep groove ball bearings. These bearings have a mechanical service life of 30,000 operating hours. They absorb low to medium radial and axial forces and are suitable for high speeds.
