Product Description
Automation products by Bosch Rexroth incorporate futuristic state-of-the-art technology. The MAD motors by the company are versatile asynchronous box motors used to create intelligent drive solutions with the controllers from the Rexroth IndraDrive product line.
The MAD130D-0250-SA-M2-EH0-35-N1 is one of the MAD induction motors in the IndraDyn A series by Bosch Rexroth. It comes in a compact and easy-to-service package with minimal maintenance requirements. Its housing is covered with a black varnish that protects it from the effects of current mineral oils, diluted acids, lyes, sewage, water, and seawater. With this varnish, there is also limited resistance against hydraulic oils and organic solvents. The MAD motor has a frame shape that allows it to be attached via foot assembly or flange assembly. It is also equipped with two PTC temperature sensors KTY84-130, permanently installed in its winding to prevent damage by overheating. It is designed to reach a rated speed of 2,500 revolutions per minute and a maximum speed of 7,500 revolutions per minute.
A multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface is used for position detection and evaluation in the MAD130D-0250-SA-M2-EH0-35-N1. It generates sine/cosine signals (1 Vss) with 2,048 periods per revolution and absolute period assignment within 4,096 revolutions. This encoder preserves the motor’s absolute position even after a switch-off and has a data memory where important motor parameters are stored to accelerate the motor’s startup. There are deep groove ball bearings in the standard bearings of this MAD motor model for absorbing low to medium radial and axial forces. These bearings have a mechanical service life of 30,000 operating hours and ensure minimal noise production.
