Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is keen on staying ahead of the curve in the automation industry and sets the pace with the creation of innovative products. Its MAD motors are ideal for use as rotary main and servo drive motors.
The MAD130D-0250-SA-M2-EH0-05-N1 is an asynchronous box motor in the MAD series of the IndraDyn A family designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is built for flange mounting and has a compact build that ensures its low-maintenance operations. Its mounted axial fan unit forms a cooling system with air currents that are guided across its surface by air baffles. This fan is designed to use clean air from the environment for this cooling mechanism to reduce the risk of dust ingress. The MAD model is protected from damage due to overheating by two PTC temperature sensors KTY84-130 installed in its winding. They work with threshold temperatures of 110°C and 120°C. The motor has 3 pole pairs and a thermal time constant of 30.0 minutes.
Like other MAD motors, the MAD130D-0250-SA-M2-EH0-05-N1 has a squirrel-cage rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.1640000 kgm². It helps to reduce the motor’s overall efficiency and performance by reducing energy losses. The rotor also improves its operational reliability with its robust design that minimizes rotor-related failures. Position evaluation and detection in the MAD model are achieved with its integrated multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. This encoder delivers sine/cosine signals (1 Vss) with 2,048 periods per revolution and absolute period assignment within 4,096 revolutions. When power is switched off, it retains the absolute position of the axis. Its data memory also aids the motor’s rapid startup.
