Product Description
The MAD130D-0200-SA-M2-EG0-05-N1 from Rexroth is a 2000 rpm AC servo motor that can reach a maximum speed of 7500 rpm. This motor can be used in high-torque applications as it can output a standstill torque of 80 Nm with a maximum standstill torque of 187 Nm allowing it to be used in heavy industrial applications. The motor is also suitable for use in extreme environments as it is IP 65 certified protecting it from dust and moisture.
The motor features multi-axis load bearings that have different configurations. The standard configurations allow the motor to attain a maximum speed of 7500 rpm, and the coupling bearings which allow the motor to be coupled with other devices allow the motor to reach 5250 rpm speed. The mechanical bearings installed in this motor offer a maximum life of 30000 hours after which they need to be replaced or greased. If the radial load is high, the bearing would need to be replaced more frequently as increased load can cause more wear and tear which may affect the overall performance of the motor.
This motor features a Multiturn encoder that generates 2048 pulses for one complete rotation. Even if the power fails or the motor is turned off the shaft position is stored in the memory installed on the encoder that is responsible for putting the motor into operation. The encoder uses the EnDat2.1 serial interface protocol that transmits the shaft position and control system information to the motor controller. The EnDat2.1 supports Bi-directional communication, allowing the motor driver to control the servo and vice versa. The EnDat2.1 also offers diagnostic and error detection functionalities allowing the user to debug any errors in the servo's operation.
