Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's asynchronous motor MAD130D-0200-SA-M2-BH0-35-N1 is also called an induction motor due to its operation based on the electromagnetic induction principle. This causes the magnetic field to rotate when AC is passed through the stator, it will create a rotating magnetic field. The rotor rotates in alignment with this magnetic field thus producing torque. These MAD motors are preferred because of the easy-to-construct design, high efficiency and low service need.
A multi-turn absolute encoder provides absolute position data even in case of power failure of the MAD motor. It offers precise feedback for ongoing processes. With 2048 increments, this motor offers high resolution suitable to drive robotic or CNC processes or in any system that needs good monitoring. This encoder provides data in multi-turns and is highly accurate to avoid failure and errors occurring especially in the control of continuous movements. The power connection to the B-side provides flexible installation of the motor, especially where space is a limiting factor.
The B-side terminal box allows easy access to wiring with an improved power supply and easy maintenance. This MAD motor has a flange and foot mounting denoted by B35. Flange mounting is more accurate compared to other mounting styles in ensuring that the coupling is aligned properly and the motor does not vibrate, which is very important for equipment like pumps and compressors. Foot mounting provides a cost-effective and stable way of fixing the motor at an easy and adjustable position for installation. These features provide flexibility in the proper adjustment of the motor and improve safety. Cooling the motor with an axial fan is an important feature and helps in increasing its lifespan.
