Product Description
The MAD130D-0150-SA-S2-EK0-05-N1 from Rexroth is an IndraDyn A series servo motor designed and developed for heavy industrial applications. This motor features an Axial blowing fan that helps the motor to cool down when under heavy-duty operation. The MAD130D-0150-SA-S2-EK0-05-N1 motor has an output power rating of 31.4 kW along with a torque of 150 Nm. The motor features a Single-turn absolute encoder for position control that uses the EnDat2.1 communication protocol for exchanging encoder information with the control system.
The motor is IP 65-rated making it suitable for applications that require it to be installed in extreme industrial environments. The motor shaft is also sealed and features a balanced half-key design, these shafts are designed to reduce vibration and minimize the effects of unbalanced forces within the system. The half-key design is also used for pinion gear and pully systems as it allows the key to be rigidly mounted on the shaft of the motor motor. The motor has a vibration severity grade of R, which is standard for all the IndraDyn A series servo motors.
This motor heavily relies on the encoder system for positioning as it does not feature a braking system. The motor can be mounted on a flange allowing it to be bolted on a rigid and stationary platform or can also be secured to other components for torque transfer with the help of a coupler. This particular motor comes installed with standard bearings that can serve this motor for up to 30000 hours of life under normal conditions. The bearings are low friction deep groove ball bearings that are low noise, and low vibration accommodating radial and axial loads in both directions.
