Product Description
Used as rotary main and servo drive motors, the MAD asynchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth are well-suited for several applications. These include metal-forming machines and food processing and packaging machines. They are also combined with IndraDrive controllers to obtain intelligent drive solutions.
The MAD130D-0150-SA-S2-AK0-35-N1 is a model of the asynchronous box motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth in the MAD series. It is equipped with a single-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for precise speed control and position evaluation. The supply voltage of this encoder ranges from 7V to 12V. Similar to other MAD models, its design accommodates risk-free operation under adverse conditions as it complies with the IP 65 Ingress Protection rating. This means it will not admit solid extrinsic materials, including dust and water jets sprayed at it from different directions. Such a structure improves the motor’s service life and reduces the need for maintenance. It also allows maintenance during its operation without risk to the user.
Flange and foot mounting are permitted mounting styles for the MAD130D-0150-SA-S2-AK0-35-N1. Its bearing is the standard type with deep-groove ball bearings, absorbing low to medium radial and axial loads. This bearing provides high availability and reduces noise production during the motor’s operation. For heat elimination, the MAD model uses mounted axial fans that form an air cooling mechanism. The air currents generated by these fans are transferred by air baffles over the motor’s surface. Its output shaft is balanced with a half key and ensures a form-locking transmission of torques with constant direction and low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. It also has a sealing ring that corresponds to DIN 3760 - design A.
