The MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-BH0-35-N1 is a heavy duty Asychronous motor with a mass of 164 kg. This Asynchronous motor has 3 coils that excite the motor's rotors by rotating it at varying frequencies. Users can use a 3 phase supply with the same operating voltages but at different frequencies to control the rotation and the speed of the motor. Users can also use a compatible power supply unit connected to a control system to perform this function without getting into high voltage as this motor draws a current of 61.5 Amperes which is highly dangerous when handled without proper protection gear.
This motor can also be connected to a robotic arm type structure as it can provide a high torque of up to 155 Nm which is very high as this can help move high gear ratio gearboxes which can further help increase the torque needed for high torque applications. The MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-BH0-35-N1 features a Multi-turn encoder which can help the motor shaft with position control and rotation control as well. This motor uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface which is great for controlling the motor shaft with minimal errors.
The MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-BH0-35-N1 features an axial blower fan, which is the one feature that sets the MAD series of motor apart from other motors designed by Rexroth. The Axial blower itself requires 400 volts phase to operate and can provide an average air flow rate of 1000 meter cube of air per hour helping the motor cool down at a faster rate without overheating and shutting down affecting the entire operation. The motor should also be kept in a cool environment to help cool it down quickly.
