Product Description
Designed to provide highly reliable outputs, the MAD130D-0100-SA-S2-FP0-05-N1 is a servo motor that comes with a single-turn absolute encoder with a 2048 resolution. The encoder on this servo motor uses the EnDat 2.1 encoder interface for communication purposes. This encoder interface provides fast data transmission rates while also offering high transmission reliability. EnDat 2.1 uses a serial communication method that only requires 4 single-channel connections, 2 of which are responsible for data transmission to and from the encoder, and the other 2 are responsible for powering the encoder module connected to the servo shaft. To ensure synchronized data transfer and efficient communication, this encoder protocol uses the clock signals from the motor control module or the connected PLC module.
Talking about the main specifications of this AC servo motor, the MAD130D-0100-SA-S2-FP0-05-N1 can rotate the shaft of the motor 1000 times in a given minute and can produce a rotational torque of 170 Nm, which is perfect for torque transmission activities, for example, operating the mechanical gearbox of a packaging machine that requires a high torque servo motor to operate so that the rotational torque can get further multiplied using the gearbox gear ratio. The motor is also very electrically demanding as it has a power rating of 17.1 kW while having a rated current rating of 43.7 Amperes when operating under normal load conditions. During locked rotor mode, this servo motor can produce a torque of 190 Nm while drawing a current of 47.8 Amperes.
To ensure the motor remains protected under harsh industrial environments, the MAD130D-0100-SA-S2-FP0-05-N1 comes with an IP 65 Ingress protection rating that helps keep the dust out of the motor enclosure, keeping it sealed as well as preventing water from creeping inside the motor housing when splashed with low levels of pressure.
