Product Description
Rexroth’s MAD130D motor family may have any of the five winding designations: 0050, 0100, 0150, 0200, and 0250. These winding designations represent the rated speed of the motor during operation. To obtain the motor’s rated speed based on its winding designation, multiply the winding number by ten. Hence, motors with a 0050 winding class have a rated speed of 500 rpm, while motors with a 0250 winding class have a nominal speed of 2500 rpm. In the context of AC motors, speed and torque have an inverse relationship. As one value increases, the other decreases. For this reason, it is not surprising to learn that MAD130D motors with a 0050 winding class have the highest rated torque, while MAD130D motors with a 0250 winding class have the least rated torque.
When it comes to the maximum torque values, however, a different trend exists. Based on Rexroth’s datasheet for MAD130D motors, motors with a 0100 winding designation have the highest maximum torque rating. For instance, the MAD130D-0100-SA-M2-FH0-35-A1, which originated from the MAD130D family with the 0100 winding class, can achieve a maximum torque value of 417.8 Nm. This motor model also has the highest stall torque at 190 Nm. At rated conditions, however, its torque rating of 170 Nm is just the second highest rating, next to MAD130D-0050 motors.
In terms of its power capabilities, when the MAD130D-0100-SA-M2-FH0-35-A1 runs at 1000 rpm, the power output is 17.8 kW. At optimal conditions, the maximum power achievable by this motor model is 36.49 kW. With a mass of 165 kilograms and a length of 770 millimeters, the MAD130D-0100-SA-M2-FH0-35-A1 has excellent driving capabilities for its size and can operate well up to a maximum speed of 6000 rpm.
