Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MAD130C-0200-SA-S2-KK0-05-N1 has a terminal box connection to the B-side. The B side is used to fix connectors because access to electrical connections and the installation process is easier from this side. Connecting it to the B-side also protects the cables, and power supply, and makes it easier to assemble and service when connected to a system. This connection protects the motor from heat and vibration generated from the driving shaft which reduces wear and tear. However, the B-side terminal box connection provides flexibility in motor installation as the motor can fit into compact zones using this mounting.
There is no holding brake in the MAD130C motors, which is useful for applications where motion is constantly changing and does not necessarily require frequent stops. Holding brakes are generally used in motor bearings when power is off and the motor shaft should remain in a stationary position. But there are certain motors that are designed to run without brakes, and they are ideal for use where no quick stability is desired and where the motor must run for a long time continuously at a steady rate.
The lack of a holding brake has some benefits. It simplifies the design of the motor and reduces maintenance needs, especially in the case of braking parts. This makes the MAD130C motor suitable for use in applications such as conveyor belts, fans, or pumps where constant operation is needed but the position of the motor is not critical. With the absence of the holding brake, the flexibility of the motor is improved, as it has fewer moving or braking parts, this may reduce the cost of maintenance and other running expenses.
