Product Description
The MAD130C-0200-SA-S2-BP0-35-V3 is an asynchronous motor also known as an induction motor. In this AC motor the the stator or the part where the coils also known as the poles are placed is excited with 480 to 690 volts of AC of operating voltage. In this particular motor design, the rotor never reaches the synchronous speed of the motor's stator hence the motor is asynchronous. This particular model is designed to attain a speed of 2000 rotations per minute which is under normal conditions, but because this model features Reinforced bearings, it is capable of attaining a maximum speed of 7500 rotations per minute.
This high-speed motor has a power rating of 23.0 kW which is economical considering the amount of speed it is capable of generating under heavy-duty conditions. The motor has a continuous standstill torque rating of 115 Nm which is the amount of torque needed for the motor to lift an object by rotation and keep the shaft at a fixed position without moving or slipping the shaft. The maximum current the motor can draw during standstill conditions is 59.6 Amperes.
This motor has a cooling fan unit attached to it on its rear for efficient intake of cooling air. The motor should be operated in a well-ventilated environment with an ambient temperature of less than 40 degrees Celsius. The motor can take up to 50 minutes to change its temperature from high to low or vice versa. It features an S2 configuration single-turn encoder that uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder protocol for shaft positioning, communicating with the supported controller. The encoder has 2048 increments, increasing the precision and accuracy of the encoder.
