Product Description
With a torque rating of 110 Nm, which is perfect for high torque robotics applications, the MAD130C-0200-SA-M2-KH0-35-N1 from Rexroth's MAD series of AC servo motor is a high-precision servo motor that comes with a multiturn absolute encoder capable of not only tracking shaft position but also can count the number of turns the shaft is capable of rotating. The encoder on this servo motor has a resolution of 2048 steps per rotation and supports the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder serial interface for communicating with the supported motor controller.
The MAD130C-0200-SA-M2-KH0-35-N1 servo motor is capable of providing a speed rating of 2000 rpm when functioning at normal rated conditions and has a power rating of 23 kW, requiring a voltage for operation between 169 volts AC to 480 volts AC while drawing a current of up to 57 Amperes. During high load operating mode where the motor operates on a locked rotor configuration, the MAD130C-0200-SA-M2-KH0-35-N1 has a standstill torque of 11.5 Nm while drawing a current of 59.6 amperes from the power supply. Since this motor has a high drive current rating, it is recommended to use a heavy-duty power supply in order for this motor to function properly with minimal power loss.
To ensure the motor has minimal power losses due to heat dissipation, the MAD130C-0200-SA-M2-KH0-35-N1 comes with an axial blower that intakes air from the surrounding with the help of the axial cooling fan from the rear end of the motor, cooling the motor coil and pushing it out the front of the motor. This blower fan requires 400 to 460 volts AC to function and draws approximately 0.75 amperes of current.
