Product Description
Part of the MAD series of AC servo motors, the MAD130C-0150-SA-S2-BQ1-35-N1 is a 117 Nm servo motor that can produce a speed of up to 1500 rotations per minute at normal operating conditions. At peak, this motor is capable of generating 7500 rpm with a maximum torque of 275 Nm. The servo motor has a nominal current rating of 48.9 Amperes while at locked rotor mode the torque of this motor is 125 Nm with a current draw of 51 Amperes. This motor has a power rating of 18.4 kW and requires 200 to 480 volts to operate at a 3-phase configuration with an input frequency of 50 to 60 Hz.
The MAD130C-0150-SA-S2-BQ1-35-N1 comes with a single-turn absolute encoder but with a higher resolution compared to the S0 configuration. The S2 configuration has 2048 increments per rotation, which means that one complete rotation of 360 degrees is divided into 2048 fine parts, making it easy for the motor to position its shaft much more precisely and accurately, making this servo motor a perfect candidate for high precision robotics applications.
To control the shaft's rotations, the MAD130C-0150-SA-S2-BQ1-35-N1 also comes with an electrically released brake that has a torque of 80 Nm. This brake has a voltage rating of 24 volts DC and draws 1.6 Amperes of current. The moment of inertia of this holding brake is 0.002 kgms². The disengagement time of this brake is 140 ms, while the engagement time is much quicker at approximately 40 ms, allowing for a quick response time. This motor also comes with an Axial blower that helps the motor with cooling. The blower requires 400 to 480 volts AC to operate.
