Product Description
The MAD130C-0150-SA-S2-AP0-05-A1 by Rexroth Bosch is an ansynchronous motor. An asynchronous motor, called an induction motor, where a rotor does not revolve at the same speed as the magnetic field created by stator. Asynchronous motors, known for their simple construction, high mechanical qualities, and lower cost, are widely used in industrial applications due to their 'slip', which generates torque within the rotor.
It is equipped with an axial-flow fan, which is designated by the "SA" code. An axial fan is very useful in cooling the motor. It is mounted on the shaft and is used to blow air along the longitudinal direction of the motor, helping in cooling thus preventing accumulation of heat during the operation. Axial Fan draws air across the motor and in a plane perpendicular to shaft. This is useful in controlling the temperature of the motor and to ensure that it performs within safe operating conditions especially during continuous or heavy- duty use. The axial fan plays an important role in ensuring that the motor does not overheat, and the motor is efficient.
| In this motor, the axial fan provides the required cooling hence enabling it to run at high loads or for longer periods of time. If cooling is not provided properly then the internal parts of the motor could fail or they could be required to be serviced frequently. The axial fan plays a very important role in motor where it assists in operation of the MAD motor without overheating. This increases its reliability to perform effectively in complicated industrial work. It also has the advantage of being a simple motor with robust construction making it an effective motor for a wide variety of applications.
