MAD is series of asynchronous motor drives of Rexroth IndraDyn A generation. These are with squirrel cage motors suited for performing as main and servo drives due to its design characteristics features. Moreover, this series is different from the MAF just by employing air for its cooling mechanism. Typically, these motors are applied in areas related to machines tools, paper processing machines, packaging machines, food processing machines and metal forming machines.
