MAD130C-0150-SA-M2-HK0-05-A1 is an air-cooled asynchronous motor from Bosch Rexroth. It belongs to the MAD product line. An asynchronous motor converts electrical energy into mechanical energy. It is called "asynchronous" because the speed of the rotor does not exactly match the speed of the rotating magnetic field produced by the stator. In an asynchronous motor, the stator contains a set of windings that produce a rotating magnetic field when an AC voltage is applied.

This rotating magnetic field induces currents in the rotor windings, which in turn create a magnetic field in the rotor. The interaction between the two magnetic fields causes the rotor to rotate. Asynchronous motors are widely used in industrial applications due to their simplicity, reliability, and low cost. They are commonly used in pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, and other equipment that require constant speed operation.
