Product Description
With the combination of high-speed reinforced bearings, the MAD130C-0050-SA-S2-AQ0-05-V1 from Rexroth Indramat is a power-efficient servo motor with a power rating of 7.3 kW capable of generating speeds of up to 7500 rpm at maximum operating conditions. This servo motor has a normal operating speed rating of 500 rpm while offering a generous 140 Nm of torque. The torque constant of this motor is 9.31 Nm of torque for every ampere of current that it draws, with a current rating of 19.7 Amperes.
Since this motor is primarily designed for heavy industrial applications, this particular model can be used for robotics applications as it can generate a torque of 145 Nm at a locked rotor configuration, which is necessary when the motor needs to be fixed in a position with the load on its shaft. This motor is also low inertia by design and has an inertia rating of 0.115 kgm², which allows the motor to increase and decrease its speed at a rapid rate. Lowering the rotor inertia improves the motor's capability to produce a quick response to speed changes.
The encoder on this motor is a 2048 increment resolution single-turn absolute encoder that uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface to transmit and read data with maximum data security features such as CRC and checksum. This communication protocol is also a two-way protocol, where both the controller and the encoder can exchange information and send data packets to each other in order to perform a controlled and coordinated sequence of actions to run the motor smoothly and according to the application’s or user's requirements.
