Product Description
With an onboard multi-turn encoder, the MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BQ1-05-V1 is a servo motor that offers both power and precision. The motor is able to accurately position itself. This encoder has a 2048 increment resolution, meaning the encoder breaks a 360-degree rotation into 2048 positions, allowing for fine-tuning of the shaft positioning and generating a specific word byte for every position. The encoder requires 5 volts DC in order to operate and will draw approximately 28 mA to 30 mA of current.
The encoder uses the EnDat 2.1 communication protocol, which comes with error detection and error code generation options that rely on a 1-bit CRC code and a 20-bit checksum to ensure that data packets transferred or received are not corrupted. The EnDat 2.1 also supports a bidirectional interface, where both the motor controller and the encoder can generate control signals and communicate back and forth.
This motor comes with a nominal speed rating of 2500 rpm and can offer a nominal rotational torque of 75 Nm. It has a power rating of 19.6 kW with a maximum torque of 176 Nm at a maximum speed of 9000 rpm, making this servo motor perfect for high-speed robotics applications which require both of these specifications to be spot-on in order to function perfectly. The motor can be mounted onto a system using the compatible flange, which not only helps keep the shaft perpendicularly aligned with the load attached but also keeps axial stress low at all times during high-speed rotations, preventing the shaft from bending, breaking, or causing unnecessary vibrations in the motor.
