Product Description
MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BP0-05-N1 is a digital servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. It is known as a servo motor primarily because it supports digital feedback. A sensor, known as an encoder, is installed on the motor. The function of the encoder is to measure motor speed, position and torque. Several types of encoders are available: the encoder installed on the MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BP0-05-N1 motor is a multiturn absolute encoder with 2048 increments and an EnDat 2.1 interface. Measurements made by the encoder are sent to a controller that is programmed with desired speed and position values. The feedback is sent via a dedicated feedback cable that connects the motor to the controller. One of the functions of the controller is to compare programmed values with those sent by the motor, and to make required adjustments to its output to ensure the values match. A separate power cable also connects the motor and controller and this cable interfaces with a power connector on side B.
Protection category of the MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BP0-05-N1 motor is IP65. This rating allows motor use in a variety of operating conditions. The ambient temperature should not exceed 40 degrees Celsius during operation. To ensure that ambient temperature stays within recommended limits, the motor is equipped with an axial cooling fan. The main shaft on the MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BP0-05-N1 includes a key. The shaft is balanced with a full key. The motor does not feature an optional holding brake. However operators can order holding brakes for MAD motors if required. Only accessories approved by Bosch Rexroth should be used with the motor. Only trained personnel with proper and relevant experience should handle the motor and participate in its operation and maintenance.
