Product Description
With a rated speed of 2500 rpm, the MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BG0-05-R1 from Rexroth is an IndraDyn Asynchronous AC motor designed to provide a torque of up to 75 Nm, making it perfect for high torque applications such as robotics. The MAD130B-0250-SA-M2-BG0-05-R1 has a power rating of 19.6 kW and a current rating demand of 47.2 Amperes, making this motor electrically demanding. Even though this motor is electrically demanding, it has a torque constant of 2.18 Nm per ampere of current, making it an efficient servo motor.
At a maximum speed of 7500 rpm, this servo motor has a torque rating of 176 Nm. The maximum speed is only possible if the motor is using high-speed standard bearings, which should be lubricated every 15,000 cycles of use and replaced after 20,000 cycles of use to enhance the performance of the motor and to prolong its life. The motor housing is made using anodized aluminum material to keep it protected against oxidization, and this servo motor comes with an IP 65 protection rating to keep this motor safe from dust and moisture, given that this motor will be installed in challenging industrial environments.
This servo motor comes with a multiturn absolute encoder that has a resolution of 2048 increments for one single rotation. This encoder can count the number of turns the motor shaft rotates for and uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface to communicate with the motor controller without any errors since the EnDat encoder interface comes with CRC error detection to help keep the data packets encrypted during transmission. In the case of an error during communication, the motor controller will generate an error code for easier debugging.
