The MAD130B-0150-SA-S2-HP0-05-A1 by Rexroth Bosch is an asynchronous motor and a variant of the Indradyn A or MAD series. All the motors in the Indradyn series use advanced cooling mechanisms, including liquid cooling with the help of coolants and surface cooling by fan units. Airflow is used in the MAD series motors to disperse heat and maintain an appropriate operating temperature. The surface cooling fans are easy to operate because they have a simple design and are lightweight. The user-friendly design of the MAD motors enables maintenance during operation, reducing the need for frequent checks. || This (MAD130B-0150-SA-S2-HP0-05-A1) product of the MAD series has axial fans, 130B dimensions, and 0150-type winding. The motor features derating speed. When the frequency of the motor increases, its speed also increases, and torque decreases because of derating. Derating is thus a recommended measure for the motor to protect it from excessive temperatures and malfunctions. This motor requires position verification within just one revolution of the absolute encoder shaft, so the single-turn encoder is used as it is the best option for motion control applications, and the integrated data memory records all the rotation information.

The stator of the MAD series motor has a field winding and a stator core. The shaft seal is made up of polytetrafluorethylene and Viton, which are resistant to chemicals or oils and offer a high degree of protection. The lifetime of a shaft seal cannot be predetermined due to complicated interactions between the seal, fluid, and shaft, as well as operating circumstances including soiling, friction, and heat, but operation under favorable conditions and proper cleaning can improve the seal's lifetime up to 10,000 hours.
