Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has successfully carved a niche for itself in the design and manufacture of highly functional drive products. Its MAD motors are a group of asynchronous motors in its IndraDyn A family. They are maintenance-free motors used in machine tools and metal-forming machines.
The MAD130B-0150-SA-M2-HP0-35-N1 is one of the asynchronous box motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MAD series. It is equipped with a multiturn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for position evaluation and speed control. This encoder has a data memory where important motor parameters are stored to reduce its startup time. It also retains the axis position after a voltage failure. The MAD model’s output shaft is the type with a keyway according to DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring. It ensures the form-locking transmission of torques with constant direction and has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. Its shaft sealing ring corresponds with DIN 3760 - Design A, making the motor suitable for attachment in dusty environments and moist rooms.
With its IP 65 Ingress Protection rating per DIN 40 050, the MAD130B-0150-SA-M2-HP0-35-N1 can be safely operated in harsh environments without the risk of damage. It is cooled by the blowing action of a mounted axial fan, which generates air currents using clean air from the environment. Air baffles guide these currents over the surface of the motor, facilitating efficient heat transfer from the motor to the ambient air. The MAD model has 3 pole pairs and uses a squirrel-cage rotor with a moment of inertia of 0.0840000 kgm2. Its rotor is built to last and requires minimal maintenance due to its simple design. It belongs to standard oscillating quantity level A.
