Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s products include hydraulic and electric drives and controls, linear motion and assembly technology, mobile hydraulics, and more. Its MAD servo motors are high-performance induction motors known for their compact size and high continuous ratings. They are well-suited for machine tools and metal-forming machines.
The MAD130B-0150-SA-M2-AP1-05-N1 is a Bosch Rexroth MAD motor equipped with two permanently installed PTC temperature sensors KTY84-130 in its winding. They protect it from irreversible damage due to thermal overload by triggering protective mechanisms at threshold temperatures of 110°C and 120°C. This motor is built to reach a rated speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and a maximum speed of 7,500 revolutions per minute. It also generates a maximum torque of 200.0Nm, while accommodating a maximum current of 71.0A. Its integrated encoder system comprises a multi-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface. It produces sine/cosine signals (1 Vss) with 2,048 periods per revolution and absolute period assignment within 4,096 revolutions.
An integrated holding brake with a holding torque of 80Nm is present in the MAD130B-0150-SA-M2-AP1-05-N1. It holds its axes at a standstill when it is disconnected from power using the closed-circuit principle. The motor’s output shaft with keyway, in line with DIN 6885-1, allows the form-locking transmission of torques with constant direction and low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. It comes with a shaft sealing ring designed per DIN 3760 - Design A to prevent fluids from entering the motor along the shaft. According to IEC 60529, the MAD model’s Ingress Protection rating is IP 65. This means it will not admit solid external materials or water jets sprayed at it from different directions.
