The Rexroth motor generation IndraDyn A consists of asynchronous box motors with squirrel-cage rotor, it is available as MAD series with surface ventilation by solidly connected fan unit. IndraDyn A motors have compact dimensions and can be used as main and servo drives for all rotary driving. The optimized design with safety class IP65 for motor and fan allows for operation in adverse conditions. Easy-to-service construction reduces maintenance frequency and allows maintenance during operation. Furthermore, IndraDyn A motors with ATEX design can be used in hazardous areas under certain preconditions.
