Product Description
The MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 is a low-speed high-torque AC motor, constructed by Rexroth Bosch. It has a base speed of 1000 rpm and permits an axial force of 50 N during operation. Like other MAD motors by Rexroth Bosch, the MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 withstands higher radial forces than axial forces. At its nominal operation, this machine can deliver 10.5 kW of power at a corresponding torque of 100 Nm. Depending on the intended application, the MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 may operate at a maximum torque of 230 Nm or a maximum power of 21.53 kW. Assuming a constant voltage model, the maximum current for this machine is 51.3 A.
Before reaching the rated speed, however, the MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 derates at 500 rpm. This derating happens because the MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1's output shaft has a balanced half keyway. The presence of a keyway in a motor's output shaft introduces mechanical stresses, which derate the motor's output, most especially at higher speeds. The MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 also features a blocking brake that holds a standard torque of 80 Nm. During operation, the blocking brake initiates holding action when the input signal goes low. By default, when the input signal to the blocking brake is high, the break is electrically released, allowing movement of the rotor.
The MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 has a multiturn absolute encoder, also called an M2 encoder, to monitor rotor position. Although the MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 only has a standard mechanical bearing, it has a fairly high radial tolerance, which varies depending on the average operating speed and point of application. The maximum radial force that this machine can withstand at rated speed is 3.5 kN. At an offset distance of 110 mm, the admissible radial force that the MAD130B-0100-SA-M2-BL1-35-N1 can withstand goes down to around 2.6 kN.
