Product Description
Built with enough flexibility to meet the application-specific needs of users, the MAD motors by Bosch Rexroth are suitable for just about any application. These include metal-forming machines, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines.
The MAD130B-0050-SA-S2-HH0-05-N1 is a MAD motor in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDyn A family. It has standard bearings with a mechanical service life of 30,000 operating hours. These bearings consist of deep groove ball bearings characterized by their high-speed capabilities and long service life. They absorb low to medium radial and axial forces and aid the motor’s noiseless operation. Designed with smooth and polished raceways, these bearings also produce low friction, reducing energy losses and improving the motor’s overall efficiency. The MAD motor is equipped with a single-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat 2.1 interface for evaluating its position. It generates sine/cosine signals (1 Vss) with 2,048 periods per revolution and absolute period assignment within one revolution.
Thanks to the two permanently installed PTC temperature sensors KTY84-130 in the winding of the MAD130B-0050-SA-S2-HH0-05-N1, it is protected from irreversible damage due to overheating. Efficient heat dissipation during the motor’s operation is provided by its cooling system comprising a mounted axial fan unit. This fan generates clean air currents guided by air baffles over the motor’s surface. Consequently, heat exchange is cost-effective and highly efficient. The output shaft in the MAD model is a plain shaft suitable for non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connections with smooth running. This motor’s rated speed is 500 revolutions per minute, while its maximum speed is 3,000 revolutions per minute. It has 3 pole pairs and a rotor moment of inertia of 0.0840000 kgm².
