The MAD130B-0050-SA-M2-FP0-35-N1 is an 88 Nm servo motor that has a nominal speed rating of 500 rotations per minute. This servo motor is perfect for high torque low-speed applications, especially robotics, where high rotational forces are required to move the links. The low speed allows the servo motor to accurately place the shaft at the needed position. This motor has a power rating of 5 kW with a current rating of 12.8 amperes. At maximum speed, this motor has a torque rating of 209 Nm. The maximum speed this motor can attain is 3000 rotations per minute.
This motor comes with an axial blower fan that operates on 400 to 460 Volts AC. The axial blower fan helps mitigate heat from the enclosure of the motor by allowing the air to circulate inside the motor, helping cool the coil. This motor comes with a multiturn absolute encoder that has a resolution of 2048 steps per revolution. The encoder can also count multiple turns without restricting the motor to a single turn. The encoder operates on 5-volt DC and requires 28 mA of current. For every increment, this encoder generates 5 volts square wave peaks for the motor controller to register a step.
The MAD130B-0050-SA-M2-FP0-35-N1 servo motor comes with a balanced shaft key to keep the shaft balanced when an axial load is applied to it, preventing the shaft from breaking under high stress. The servo also features a shaft sealing ring to keep the motor's internals protected by preventing dust from entering the motor housing from the front and preventing lubrication oil from spilling out of the stator of the motor.
