Product Description
The MAD100D-0250-SA-M2-BL5-05-N1 motor by Rexroth Bosch belongs to the Indradyn A series. The asynchronous motors of the MAD series are designed to be used in industries for printing, packaging, metal forming, and paper processing machines. Asynchronous motors have a high efficiency, which can be further increased with proper construction and operation. The motor operates asynchronously because there is a difference between the rotor and stator's flux current, so it never reaches its maximum rotating magnetic field speed. In an asynchronous motor, the value of slip is always greater than zero and less than one.
The MAD100D-0250-SA-M2-BL5-05-N1 asynchronous motor features a drive controller, thermosensors, and an absolute encoder. The 100D dimension motor has a 0250-type winding and belongs to the MAD series. The attached axial fan is perfect for cooling the motor's surface because it is built to withstand high temperatures, shock, flames, and corrosive materials. The axial fan with strong dielectric strength and minimum power input operates smoothly and without making any type of noise. As a rotational position sensor, the multiturn encoder counts the number of full rotations (Turn Count) and angles ranging from 0 degrees to 360 degrees.
The half key is used to support and balance the motor. The holding brake on the motor is electrically clamped and can be activated externally or directly via the drive device. Moreover, this motor has standard bearings, flange & foot mounting, and R-grade vibration. The motor has highly sensitive PTC (positive temperature coefficient) thermosensors that increase the resistance as the temperature of the motor increases. Only the parts and accessories listed in this document may be utilized with the motors of the MAD series.
