The MAD100D-0200-SA-M2-EP0-05-N1 is an Asynchronous processing motor that has a nominal speed of 2000 rpm. The motor has a frame size of 100 and supports the INS0480 Motor flange socket. The motor can be operated on 230 to 480 Volts and draws around 27.2 Amperes of current. This motor can achieve a maximum speed of 9000 rpm on standard bearings when an output power of 11.3 kW. The maximum derating speed at which the motor can continuously operate without exceeding its rated torque or current values is approximately 1500 rpm.

The MAD100D-0200-SA-M2-EP0-05-N1 motor features a Multiturn absolute encoder that uses the EndDat 2.1 communication protocol for transferring and receiving the data from the motor controller. This absolute encoder has 2048 increments per revolution for each turn allowing for precise angular measurement per revolution. The motor also has the encoder connection on side A which is placed on the top of the motor and in the outwards direction allowing for easy access.

For protecting the motor’s internals, the MAD100D-0200-SA-M2-EP0-05-N1 is IP 65 rated and also comes with a shaft sealing ring preventing moisture and dirt from entering the motor and affecting its performance. The Axial blower in the motor allows it to cool down. It requires a 400 Volts 3 phase supply and consumes around 83 to 100 VA of power. The average flow rate of the axial blower is 230  m³/h. The motor should be operated in an environment with less than 40 degrees Celsius to avoid overheating and should be installed 1000m above sea level as the protection seal can protect the motor for 30 minutes when operating underwater. This motor should not be operated underwater.
