Product Description
This induction, or asynchronous, motor by Rexroth Bosch is an AC motor in which the torque-generating electric current is produced by the electromagnetic induction from the stator winding. These motors are quite popular in different industrial uses because they are powerful, uncomplicated, and durable. In contrast, synchronous motors do not need an external supply to rotate the rotor.
MAD100C-0250-SA-S2-AP0-05-R1 has a connector on the A-side, and it is equipped with a driven shaft with a shaft sealing ring balanced with an entire key. The sealing ring is important as it stops any debris, such as dust or moisture, from gaining access to the motor, thereby damaging it. The key and the balanced shaft ensure proper torque distribution across the motor and connected machinery while avoiding vibration that causes wear to the motor and other machinery. For this motor, flange mounting (05) is used to enable it to be firmly and strongly coupled to the machine or equipment it drives. The lack of an auxiliary brake suggests that the application can be done without the motor holding its position while it is not connected to power. Also, this motor is equipped with bearings for clutching, making it flexible when the motor could be either engaged or disengaged from the driven load intermittently.
It provides the required rigidity and solidity to its construction, while the minute details of construction improve performance. The connection aspects of the motor, such as the balanced shaft and the sealing ring, provide smooth operation and guard the motor from contaminants, enhancing the motor's reliability and lasting impact. This motor also has a high-precision encoder for improved control and is designed to provide the best performance in tough conditions that require regular and smooth operation.
