Product Description
MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-HG1-05-N1 is a digital servo motor. It supports digital feedback via an integrated singleturn absolute encoder. Singleturn encoders offer several benefits such as lower power consumption, faster response and reduced wear and tear. The motor encoder supports 2048 increments and includes an EnDat 2.1 interface. MAD motors are air-cooled motors with permanent cooling fans. The fan on the MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-HG1-05-N1 produces airflow along the motor axis. It requires 3-phase AC input at 400/480 Volts AC. The power consumption is 76/125VA. Mean airflow volume is 360 cubic meters per hours. The motor works in conjunction with a servo controller, which controls motor speed/torque and provides electrical power for the motor. The power cable carrying electrical power connects to a terminal box on side B of the motor housing. The MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-HG1-05-N1 motor has a plain shaft with a sealing ring.
The seal on the motor shaft prevents contaminant ingress as well as oil leakage. Despite the shaft seal, operators must ensure that the shaft is clear of liquids, especially when the motor is installed with the shaft pointing vertically in the upwards direction. The MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-HG1-05-N1 motor is equipped with a 24 Nm electrically releasing holding brake. Connection time of the brake is 30 milliseconds and its disconnection time is 90 milliseconds. Maximum speed rating for the holding brake is 10,000 RPM. The MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-HG1-05-N1 is a flange mounted motor with standard bearings. It complies with vibration severity A rating as per DIN EN 60034. Operators are advised to not commission the motor if connections, operating states or product data are unclear or faulty. Operators must also not commission the motor if safety devices and monitoring units for the operator’s plant are damaged or not in operation.
