Product Description
Designed to provide a nominal speed of 2000 rotations per minute, the MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-BH0-05-N1 from Rexroth is an Asynchronous AC servo motor part of the IndraDyn lineup. This servo motor has a length of 100 mm and a frame size C, making it compact enough to be installed in a confined space. This motor relies on flange-type mounting for secure and vibration-free mounting thanks to its reinforced body design that helps reduce vibration in the motor chassis.
This motor has a maximum speed rating of up to 9000 rotations per minute when using the normal high-speed bearings, but when the motor operates at non-rated conditions, it may drop its speed to 1500 rotations per minute irrespective of the type of bearings being used. The rated torque of this motor is 45 Nm, while drawing a current of 25.7 Amperes. In standstill mode, this motor has a torque rating of up to 47 Nm, drawing a current of around 26.7 Amperes, making it perfect for robotics applications where industrial robotics may require a fixed position while carrying a heavy load.
This Asynchronous motor is a perfect servo since it comes with a single-turn absolute encoder with an encoder resolution of 2048 increments. This allows the encoder to break one single rotation into 2048 fine points, enhancing the positioning of the shaft. The encoder uses the EnDat 2.1 digital encoder interface for communicating with the motor controller. To help cool down this motor, the MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-BH0-05-N1 comes with an axial blower that requires 400 volts AC to operate and has a power consumption rating of 100 VA maximum. The blower has an average flow rate of 230 m³/h, allowing the motor to cool down quickly.
