The MAD series of Rexroth Bosch contains the MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-N1 motor with a high-power density for modern industrial applications. These asynchronous motors are of standard design and can only be used with a compatible machine that is specified by the Indramat group. In the MAD version, the motor is cooled by forced air supplied by an axial fan unit. The measurement of this motor is 100C (length & size).

The motor has a particular type of winding, 0200; to control torque and maximum speed (2000 rpm maximum). The constant motor torque is 2.41 Nm/A at 20 °C, and the rated torque is 45 Nm. The high-resolution encoding system is developed by the single-turn absolute encoder. The S2 encoder used in the motor is perfect for monitoring the rotor's 360° rotation with 2048 increments, ensuring precise control and feedback. H represents the features of the shaft and the mechanical energy is transferred to other devices through it. The sealing of the shaft is not incorporated into the motor. The electrical connection is affixed to side A of the motor. It is a flange and foot-mounted type motor thus offering the user a more flexible positioning of the machine.

Standard ball bearings with the vibration of R type make it possible for the motor to accept and withstand radial as well as axial loads. The MAD100C-0200-SA-S2-AH0-35-N1 motor does not have an integral holding brake, and the motor keeps running until someone powers it off.
