Rexroth’s MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-HP0-05-A1 is a specific product model that offers continuous performance at medium to high torque settings. Featuring an S2 encoder, this motor model allows a separate drive or controller to monitor motor parameters during operation. The single-turn absolute encoder integrated in this motor model uses 1 Vss as the signal over a span of 2048 periods. The MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-HP0-05-A1 also employs a set of mounted axial fans that blow air during operation to lower motor temperature. The blowing air current enters through the motor’s rear side and exits on the motor’s shaft side. Based on the MAD100 motor’s datasheet, this motor model’s thermal class is 155.
