Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for its long history of delivering state-of-the-art units used in drive and automation. The company’s MAD motors have high continuous ratings and compact dimensions, making them ideal for use as main and servo drives for various rotary driving tasks.
The MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-AH0-35-N1 is one of the MAD asynchronous box motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It can attain a maximum speed of 9,000 revolutions per minute and generate a maximum torque of 110.4Nm. Thanks to its standard bearing, the motor has an extended service life, running with minimal noise generation. This deep groove ball bearing absorbs low to medium radial and axial forces and is suitable for high speeds. The single-turn encoder in the MAD motor has the EnDat 2.1 interface and a supply voltage between 7V and 12V. It supports flange mounting and cooling via a mounted axial fan. Air currents generated by this fan are guided over the motor’s surface by air baffles.
Coating the MAD100C-0150-SA-S2-AH0-35-N1 is a black varnish with impressive resistance to current mineral oils, sewage, water, and diluted acids and lyes. The varnish also offers limited resistance against hydraulic oils and organic solvents. This MAD model uses a plain output shaft with no shaft sealing ring to achieve a non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connection. It can be used in adverse conditions without the risk of damage since its design meets the requirement of the IP 65 protection category according to EN 60529. Its rotor is the squirrel cage type which has no slip rings and reduces the need for maintenance. This rotor type is a cost-effective option for ensuring energy-efficient operations. Its moment of inertia is 0.0284000 kgm2.
