Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MAD motors are high-performance asynchronous box motors in its IndraDyn A family. They are characterized by compact dimensions and high continuous ratings. When combined with the controllers from the Rexroth IndraDrive product series, these motors offer intelligent drive solutions with open functionality.
The MAD100C-0150-SA-N0-BH0-35-N1 is one of the asynchronous box motors in Bosch Rexroth’s MAD series. It is equipped with a plain output shaft for connecting the machine elements to be driven. This shaft has no sealing ring but provides a non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connection, ensuring the motor’s smooth running. Clamping sets, pressure sleeves or clamping elements can be used to couple the machine elements. The motor is designed for flange mounting and uses standard bearings consisting of deep-groove ball bearings. These bearings are designed with smooth and polished raceways, resulting in low friction and reduced energy losses. Consequently, the motor functions with high efficiency. The MAD motor can attain a maximum speed of 9,000 revolutions per minute.
Cooling is achieved via a mounted axial fan on the MAD100C-0150-SA-N0-BH0-35-N1. It works with surface cooling, where air baffles guide the air currents generated by the fan over the motor’s surface. The fan is designed to use clean air from the environment for this cooling to prevent damage to the motor. This MAD model is built to withstand adverse conditions due to its IP 65 rating per DIN 40 050. It is touch-proof, dustproof, and safe from the penetration of water jets sprayed at it from different directions. The squirrel-cage rotor in the motor has a moment of inertia of 0.0284000 kgm2. It should be operated at an ambient temperature between 0oC and 40oC.
