The Rexroth MAD100C-0100-SA-S2-BG0-05-A1 is an AC servo motor designed for tough industrial applications that requires strength and precision. It delivers up to 5.2kW power and rated torque of 50Nm at a speed of 1000 r.p.m. The rated current of the motor is 13.2 A and the motor works stably while under load. The motor is quite reliable for heavy duty applications since it can operate at uninterrupted current of 13.8A and develop persistent output torque of 54Nm. It has superb efficiency and excellent control in operation and features a maximum torque rated at 119 Nm and torque constant at 4.94 Nm/-A 20C of temperature. The three pole pairs in the motor allows the users to use it in fairly stable operation in various applications.
IndraDyn A Motors such as the MAD100C are always connected form the top for their electrical connections. Electrical power supply may be connected via terminal box or a flange socket. In this case, a cupboard power cord connector is fitted with a bayonet connection connector if you choose for the flange socket option. Alternatively, if the terminal box option is chosen, the PE wire, being a ground wire in this case has to be provided with a ring terminal and the conductors of the power leads going to U, V and W have to have ferrules attached.
The motor includes a terminal strip or terminal block within the terminal box for applications requiring higher DC bus voltages than that if some previous mentioned up to 750V DC. With this configuration, ferruled cables may be engaged to enable connecting or disconnection for safe operation.
