Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s products incorporate cutting-edge technology to ensure high performance for various applications. One of these is the asynchronous MAD motor designed to be used as a rotary main and servo drive motor in machine tools and metal-forming machines.
The MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-EG0-05-N1 is a model of the compact asynchronous box motors in the MAD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is fitted with a mounted axial fan that forms part of a surface cooling mechanism for eliminating the heat generated during the motor’s operation. This fan creates air currents using clean air from its environment, while air baffles guide the currents over the motor’s surface. The MAD model’s integrated encoder system is a single-turn absolute encoder with the EnDat2.1 interface and a data memory, where its parameters are stored. It quickens its startup since these parameters are set upon startup. This asynchronous motor has a rated speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute but can reach a top speed of 9,000 revolutions per minute.
A plain output shaft with a sealing ring is present in the MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-EG0-05-N1 for providing a non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connection with zero backlash and noiseless operation. Clamping sets, pressure sleeves or clamping elements can be used to couple the machine elements to be driven. Its sealing ring is designed per DIN 3760 - Design A and prevents fluids from penetrating through the motor along its shaft. The bearing in the MAD motor is the standard type consisting of deep-groove ball bearings, and it is suitable for absorbing low to medium radial and axial forces. This bearing’s service life is 30,000 operating hours, and it is suitable for high speeds.
