Designed for high-speed applications, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-BG0-05-R1 is a 2000 rpm servo motor that can attain a maximum rotational speed of 9000 rpm with a maximum torque rating of 66 Nm at this speed. At nominal speed, the servo motor has a normal torque rating of 28 Nm while drawing a current of 14.6 amperes while operating at a voltage of 169 to 480 volts AC with a power rating of 5.9 kW.
To keep the motor mounted perpendicularly on a system, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-BG0-05-R1 supports the flange mount support system that helps reduce the overall vibration in the motor by keeping the shaft perfectly aligned with the gearbox. This perfect alignment not only helps reduce vibration but also keeps axial stress on the shaft perfectly uniform, preventing the shaft from bending or breaking during high-speed rotation. The MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-BG0-05-R1 comes with the R1 reinforced bearing which allows this servo motor to attain a high speed of up to 9000 rpm while the manufacturer recommends performing maintenance after every 10,000 cycles of use and should be replaced once every 15,000 cycles of use to minimize wear and tear and to help prolong the life of the motor.
To help with placing the shaft of the motor accurately at the required position, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-BG0-05-R1 comes with a single-turn absolute encoder with a high resolution of 2048 increments for one single rotation. To ensure smooth communication between the motor and the motor controller, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S2-BG0-05-R1 comes with the EnDat 2.1 serial communication support that offers various types of error checks and encryption to ensure safe and secure transmission of the data. The communication between the motor controller and the motor is bi-directional.
