The MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1 is an exceptional asynchronous motor by Rexroth Bosch manufactured under the MAD motor series. Featuring a standard mechanical bearing and a P-shaft type, this AC motor is suitable for driving loads at relatively higher speeds. Based on its nameplate, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1 runs at a working speed of 2000 rpm but can go as high as 9000 rpm. At the working speed specified at its nameplate, this machine delivers a corresponding nominal current of 14.6 amperes at 5.9 kW. At this corresponding power, the driving torque of the motor shaft reaches 28 Nm. Like all other Rexroth motors under the MAD motor model series, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1 features a surface-mounted cooling fan.
Although the MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1 runs at a rated speed of 2000 rpm, the machine experiences prior derating when its shaft reaches its key speed of 1500 rpm. The key speed indicates the starting point at which the motor's torque decreases from its standstill value. By the time the motor reaches its rated speed, the motor's torque is approximately equal to its nameplate value. Depending on the supply voltage and drive controller used, AC motors may operate at higher torque, power, or current values. At most, the MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1 can operate safely at a maximum torque of 66.2 Nm and a maximum current of 28.9 A.
The MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1, however, must not be operated continuously at its maximum current to avoid thermal overloading. The maximum current may only be applied for a short time, after which the current must be reduced to 2.2 times the rated value and let the winding temperature decrease. Since the MAD100B-0200-SA-S0-BP0-35-N1's output shaft has a sealing ring, its ingress degree of protection is IP 65.
