The MAD100B-0050-SA-M0-KH0-05-N1 from Rexroth is an IndraDyn A series of Asynchronous servo motors. This servo motor operates on the principle of induction where its stator produces electromagnetic fields using the poles or the coils, which in this model are 3 coils. The rotor of the motor then rotates due to electromagnetic induction and this motor configuration has a speed of 500 rotations per minute with a maximum torque of 75 Nm at a maximum speed of 3000 rotations per minute. The nominal torque rating of this motor is 34 Nm with a current draw of 5.3 Amperes.
To help keep the motor under an operating temperature range of 45 degrees Celsius maximum, the MAD100B-0050-SA-M0-KH0-05-N1 Asynchronous servo motor comes with an Axial blower fan that rotates continuously to help with cooling the motor. This motor takes in air from side B of the motor, which is the rear end, circulates the air internally, and finally exits side A of the motor, also known as the front.
